Proton BLM Pre-launch at Cineleisure Mall (Beside The Curve)- First Stage
As everyone know the New Proton Saga will be launched soon since they are accepting the booking from 1/11/2007 onward. Regarding Dato Syed, the booking has reached 3000 units so far.
I personally think that this coming soon new car will give Malaysia automotive industry a great impact in term of sale figures because the car exterior is generous and able to capture buyers from youngters to low income family. Proton BLM, for sure will influence the sales from Perodua since the pricing is good enough to compete with them (VIVA and MYVI). Malaysian nowadays very emphasize in built quality eventough the car is in low range market. Therefore, PROTON!! make sure your car is good in quality built. Proton also need to consider the after sales service is very important today, without good after sales service support, the company will not long run.
Today (6/11/2008), I went to attend the pre-launch Proton BLM at Cineleisure Mall. In summary, the show will separate into 3 stages until the Proton BLM launch, the first stage is shown in the photos below here. Today, they brought the platform and assembly with tire (with rims), hand brake, steering and Intake Airflow Fuel Model. The next stage is put on 11/1/2008 at 8pm same place.
Today, I can see Proton has take alot of effort and hardwork to gain back Malaysian confidents. Good job, PROTON!!!
Here are some photo I have taken today.
