At 7th July 2008 is my best friend big day. His wife give birth of his lovely daughter at 3.50pm. At here, I would like to congratulations to him and his family.

Honda Freed

Honda has just announce totally New 7 Seater Small MPV called Honda Freed in Japan Market.

Now the front view of the HOnda Freed is quite similar to Honda Accord. Transformer like!!

I think Honda call it Honda Freed because they want this car to be free in term of flexiblity not only can take up to 7 people, but allow to carry quite a lot of stuffs. Free mean a lot of posibility in this car.

I hope this car will arrive Malaysia in 2009

Recently I have fed up with the giant internet provider service in Malaysia where the connection is not stable (sometime good sometime no connection at all). Eventhough I subscript 1mb data connection, the speed never achieved half of itself. I really disappointed with their provided service. Sometime when I faced the connection problem (no signal at all), so I tried to phone their so-called "helpline", but the problem still cannot solve (what to do, wait for few days lo...:(... ). I wonder whether their service which day is consider good.

Last time may be we have not much choices, but now we have more choices in the malaysia market now. Therefore, I try to find any alternative solution (to use other service provider).

The Super Number 9

Recently, I discovered that an unique number from 0 to 9 while I was driving homeback. The so called special number is NUMBER 9. If you multiply 9 with any number except zero, and add up the every single digits to become one digits. It will end up to be nine again. Confuse??

See the example below:-

9 X 3 = 27 ==> 2 + 7 = 9

9 X 12 = 108 ==> 1 + 0 + 8 =9

9 X 13 = 117 ==> 1 + 1 + 7 = 9

9 X 21 = 189 ==> 1 + 8 + 9= 18 ==> 1 + 8 = 9

.....etc.



Isn't this number very special. I think this is why chinese society call nine as a "Jiu". In chinese meaning longlasting and never end up. That is why the chinese king love number nine also.

Fins Food (one)- Asam Laksa

As I promise from previous blog, today I want to introduce a place for you to enjoy your meal either in weekdays or in weekend. This food is considered very common and popular in Malaysia, most of the Malaysian and foreigner like it so much.

Let me introduce you now.....Ding....Ding...Ding...Ting...(music)....


The food is Asam Laksa (AL), (in your mind "cheh, What so special"). Normally, a nice Asam Laksa only can get in Penang area or some rural areas. However, today this food, AL you can get it in Kuala Lumpur now.


Actually this shop is located in Ceneleisure Damansara Mutiara lower ground of the complex and also you can visit another shop at Subang USJ The Summit. The shop name called Ah Cheng Laksa. The AL provided by this shop is very similar to northern style. If you like the Penang Laksa, I guarantee you like this also. The owner herself is from Alor Setar (if not mistaken) called Ah cheng also, she has her own sercret recipe. Therefore, the AL over really delicious. Somemore, the noodles given in the AL very "Q". The soup not too spicy and just nice with the taste.


Another food can get from the shop is Longan drink. The Longan is a kind of drink. Normally Malay call it "mata kuching" or chinese call "drangon eye"(direct translate). I strongly recommend that if you order an AL, you must order together with the Longan drink. The Longan not too sweet and the taste is good. You can choose either hot or cold drink. Of course, there are other foods provided in the shop, you can choose whatever food you like.

The New Proton SAGA 2008 Launching

After long waiting for 17 months for this new baby come out. Today, we finally can see the real product of New Proton SAGA 2008 in the show room.

What I really concern about this car is the interior part. From the photo as show below, the dashboard and door trim are using better and mature texture on the surface. Therefore, the plastic feel is lesser now. I can see plenty of things carry over from others Proton model such as air-vent from old SAGA, the door handle from personal and ahnd brake etc.

Of course, the car price is the major issue to make this car competitive in the market (yeah, they make it). The price range is from 31k to 40k only which is very suitable for entry level people to get one of it such as fresh graduate, low income family, students and etc.

From the exterior part, the car look strong and muscular like Savvy. Of this car sure will pass the safety requirement.

Last Stage of Fixing New Proton Saga 2008 At Cineleisure

As usual I went to Cineleisure Damansara Mutiara this evening to see the last stage of the fixing Proton BLM 2008. Today, they fixed more stuff compare to previous stages. The Proton team today fixed with the front bonnet, rear boot, rear seat and etc. During the fixing moment, there is a person to verify all the fixed stuffs in the car whether is fixing probably or not. Therefore, now Proton is very emphasize in quality control in order to gain back Malaysian confident level.

Before the fixing campaign started, I have talked to an engineer from Proton R&D. As he stated, the car is develop properly and the material provided in the car must be qualified certain standard set by Proton R&D. Threfore, the quality assurance is there.

While we chatting, he also mentioned that the New Proton SAGA 2008 may come out the Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV) version with 1.6l engine very soon (at least 6 months). Besides, he also mention that most probabaly Proton MPV will release next year (never mention which month).

At the same time, I also asked how Proton can develop the car so quick. He mentioned that they study others car manufacturers (may be 20-25 MPV) in the market, so that they can at least meet the customer requirements such as comfortable level, handling level, material chooses, colour, exterior outlook and etc.

This is how they can build a car so fast, so don't be surprise that the new Proton SAGA 2008 can be built in short time (less than 2 years). In addition, the New Proton SAGA 2008 is extended from Prton Savvy with improved interior.This is very normal since this already practicing in the market such as from Honda jazz extended to become Honda City, Nissan Latio hathcback to sedan version and Toyota Yaris to Toyota Vios 2008.

For your information, tomorrow will have a grand launching at KLCC. The launching will show a red Proton Saga R3 version which is look like mini Lancer Evolution.
